Tri City Manager Downes wins appeal!

Tri City Indians have won their appeal on a game that they had lost 5 - 4 in Nanaimo on April 21/12.   The game will be replayed from the time of the protest.  Tri City Manager Randy Downes was confident that he would win the appeal as the umpires erred on an interpretation of a play in which they let a runner advance 3 bases instead of 2  on a ball thrown out of play on a first play by an infielder.  The game was tied at the point of protest.
