Flags at half mast across Mountie Nation

It is with deep sympathy that we pass along the news that Mountie Alum Mike Gerbrandt passed away on February 20, 2016. "Gerber" proudly wore No. 11 for the Mounties during the 2009 season and was part of a team that won the League Championship that year. Mike's enthusiasm for the game was infectious and he always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Our thoughts go out to Mike's parents Fred and Yun and the restt of the Gerbrandt family. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
Memorial service for Mike will be taking place February 29th at Willingdon Church (4812 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby, BC). Viewing is at 11:30 am, service at 12 Noon.
