Vancouver Mounties History

The Vancouver Mounties Baseball Club was established in the mid 90's.  The name derives from the professional Vancouver Mounties AAA farm team that played out of Capilano Stadium (now Nat Bailey) from 1956 - 1969. 
The youth baseball franchise, from 1995 - 2007,  was a team in the BC Minor Baseball Midget Division (16 - 18) and left the division a very storied club.  In 2008, the coaching staff along with the Mounties name decided to move to the Bantam Division (14 - 15).  The club never missed a beat, winning silver medals at both the Provincial and the Western Canadian Championships in just its first year at the Bantam level.
