Mounties Show the GOOD the BAD and the UGLY!
Posted May 26, 2012
In
an all too familiar pattern the Vancouver Mounties played a good game
and then followed it up with an ugly bad game. The Mounties won the
first game by a 7 - 2 count, and then fell behind in the 2nd game by 8
to 1 and 13 - 1 scores. The Mounties battled back and had the bases
loaded with the tying run on 1st but had dug themselves to big of a hole
to climb out of, and lost the game 14 to 11. The Mounties continue to
struggle on the defensive side of the ball and were once again reminded
that when you are playing against good teams you cannot play horrendous
defence and expect to win. The Mounties are happy to get out of Ridge
with at least 1 win and will take to the field again tomorrow and
hopefully be able to play respectable defence against the White Rock
Tritons.
