Mounties go 1 and 3 in Summer Sizzler

The Vancouver Mounties lost their first two games in pool play relegating them to the consolation round.  The Mounties went down South looking for some tough competition and tournament Organizer Eddie Allen did not dissapoint putting the Mounties in a pool with the two best teams in the tournament.

The Mounties were up against the Northwest Blaze and the Toyota Baseball Club, losing by 11 - 3 and 4 - 0 scores.  In consolation games the Mounties defeated the Cavaliers 11 - 0 and lost to the Yakima Beetles by an 8 - 2 score.

The Toyota Baseball Club defeated the Northwest Blaze by a 9 - 8 score in a thrilling Championship final.
