Team B.C. Plans Tuneup Trip to U.S.A.

Posted August 9, 2012

With only 16 days until Team B.C. opens up against Newfoundland/Labrador the coaching staff have planned a mini trip down South so the boys can have a chance to bond and get some much needed game time together so that they can blend into a cohesive group.

With a full schedule of practices starting on Wednesday Team B.C. will have 3 days of practice before they set out to do battle against our neighbours down South.  The USSSA sponsored Bat Wars Tournament will be held in parks in Puyallup Washington.  Team B.C. will be playing in a combined 16U/17U division so they will have their work cut out for them.

A special thanks goes out to USSSA Tournament Director Matt Creaser for accommodating us at such a late date and for giving us the game times that we requested and also putting us on the Turf field at Heritage Park in Puyallup for our first two games.  There are 11 teams entered in the tournament.

Team B.C. will play two games on Saturday:

Team B.C. vs. Hoquiam Bulls at 1:00 at Heritage Park field #5
Team B.C. vs. Central Kitsap Patriots at 3:15 at Heritage Park field #5
