Mounties To Enter 3 Local Tournaments
Posted February 16, 2013
The Vancouver Mounties have confirmed entry into three local B.C. tournaments for the upcoming 2013 season. The Mounties will be looking to defend their 2012 Ice Breaker Championship in Coquitlam come Easter.
The Mounties have been accepted into Richmond's Victoria Day Tournament in which they are also defending champions in 2010 and 2011, only to be thwarted by Mother Nature and denied an opportunity in 2012 to make it a 3peat when after making it to the championship round, all remaining games were rained out.
The Mounties have also entered the Boulanger tournament in Cloverdale looking forward to one of the toughest B.C. tournaments as they have brought in top notch American Baseball Teams in the past few years.
The Mounties are currently negotiating with tournament directors south of the border in Yakima and the Greater Seattle Area and are aiming to enter 3 American tournaments in Washington State.
