Mounties Keep TAKIN' CARE OF BUSINESS!

The score would stay that way until the bottom of the 4th. With 2 outs, and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Kingsbury clutched up once again with an infield single to score Lindeman from 3rd, and Sebben, with some heads up running, took advantage of a bumble by the second baseman and also scored on the play to increase the lead to 4-0. The Mounties threatened in the 5th with 2 runners on in scoring position with 1 out, but were held off the score board by the stingy Red Eagles pitching and defense.
With one out in the bottom of the 6th, Sebben battled and garnered his second walk of the game then promptly stole second. Hogan came into the game for a pinch hit after missing the last two games due to an undisclosed lower body injury and delivered a clutch RBI double to extend the Mountie lead. Kingsbury re-entered for Hogan on the base paths, and scored on the very next pitch after a Currie laser found it's way past the Eagles first baseman. Yang came up with 2 outs, and ripped a double, Yang's 3rd hit of the game, to score Currie and stake the Mounties to a 7-0 lead, and that's all the Mounties would need.
Yang started the game on the hill for the Mounties, and went the distance for a complete game shutout. Yang was masterful in his outing giving up 1 hit with no walks while striking out a season high 12 Eagle batters (including a 4 strikeout inning). Yang also lead the offense with 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Sebben was a tablesetter with 2 walks, 2 stolen bases, and 2 runs scored.
