Early on, Lennox had a lot of trouble getting on the scoreboard. It took until the fourth inning for Sophomore Brock Anderson to give Lennox a run when he hit a solo homerun to left field.

The bottom of the fifth brought a lead off hit by pitch by Zach Foss but then two outs in a row put Lennox in a jam. However, Sophomore Zach Leisinger came through with an RBI single and then Marshall McLaren doubled in Leisinger.

This made it 3-0. In the bottom of the sixth, Stien was hit by pitch and Ray Williams would pinch run. Williams stole second and third, then he scored when the throw to third turned into an error. Lennox now led 4-0.
Sophomore Camden Wulf would close the door on Baltic with a flyout and two groundouts securing the victory for Lennox. Click the following link to see the final out of Lennox's undefeated season. Lennox had already clinched the top spot in both Region 3 and District 3 South. This means that Lennox will have home field advantage the whole playoffs. The first round of playoffs will be on May 14th or May 15th. There will be two games in Lennox as the first game will be the fourth and fifth seeds playing to play Lennox. So far, we know that Canton will be the fifth seed, but there is a one game difference between Sioux Falls Christian, Tea Area, and Garretson for 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Lennox has had a super successful season as they have been led by their great pitching and defense. LHS has a team earned run average of 1.022 while outscoring opponents 82 to 17. Lennox is averaging 6 runs per game while allowing just over 1 per game. This will be Lennox's strength going forward.
In order for Lennox to make the state tournament at Sioux Falls Stadium on Memorial Day, Lennox will have to win their first round district game, win the District championship and then win the Region 3 championship. There are plenty of games left for Lennox to win and being in the toughest region in the state, Lennox will have their hands plenty full.
The good news is that Head Coach Drew Sweeter set the schedule up perfect giving the LHS boys a week off between the final game and the first round of playoffs to work on perfecting their performance for playoffs.
This team is an incredible team to watch. They work together as one unit making sure that everything goes right. From everyone starting, to the guys on the bench to the coaches and even the fans, this group is special.

The team would like to thank all of the fans and supporters. However, there is still a lot of work to be done as the undefeated season does not stop here. When we know for sure, we will let the Oriole nation know when the first game of playoffs are so that everyone can show up and support the Orioles.
