Mounties Close Out Season with a Pair of Wins

Mounties closed out their regular season with a couple of wins over the Nanaimo Pirates and finished with a league record of 26-14 (31-19 overall).

In Game 1, with 2 outs in the bootom of 7, Brady got on base on a dropped 3rd strike then came around to score the tying run to force extra innings. Rian hit a deep SAC fly to score the winning run in the bottom of 8 to win 6-5.

In Game 2, the Mounties bats were on fire and Matt was dealing on the mound, going the distance in a 16-1 mercy in 4 1/2 innings.

Next Up: Mounties host Ridge Meadows in a best 2 of 3 playoff series weekend of July 20-21, with the winner advancing to the BC Minor Final Four Provincials in Delta July 26-28.
