Hollanders top Brewers

Turned out to be a beautiful night at the ballpark. Thanks to all that came out to cheer us on!
The Hollanders fell behind 1-0 in the top of the 1st on an RBI double by Glencoe. In the bottom half, Casey and Carter Clemensen both walked followed by a Max Wiegert single to load the bases. Kyle Twait grounded into a fielders choice to tie the game at 1.
In the 2nd, David Solfelt, Ben Lindberg and Casey Clemensen all walked to load the bases. The Brewers pitcher then balked to allow Solfelt to score and give Cologne the 2-1 lead.
Glencoe struck right back to tie it at 2 in the top of the 3rd. Both teams would go quiet until the 7th. Tim Swanson started the action with a single followed by a Solfelt double to put runners on 2nd and 3rd. Joey Lilya delivered an RBI single. Lilya would steal 2nd and the throw from the catcher ended up in centerfield to allow another run to score. The Hollanders now led 4-2 and that's where the score would remain.
Casey Clemensen threw a solid 6 innings, scattering 8 hits and 2 runs. Max Wiegert closed it out in the final 3 innings to secure the victory.
