Seesaw battle in Norwood

A seesaw battle last night in Norwood.
The Indians drew first blood in the 2nd. Back to back walks started the inning. A sac bunt was followed up by consecutive RBI singles to put Norwood up 2-0.
In the top of the 3rd, Zack Nelson hit a 2 out single and stole second. Tanner Luebke singled him home to make it a 2-1 ball game.
Alex Buckentine was hit by a pitch to start the bottom of the 4th. He was followed up by back to back singles to load the bases. A fielders choice scored a run to make it 3-1, but the Hollanders were able to escape the jam and prevent a big inning.
Graham Burke led of the 5th with a single and moved up to second on a wild pitch. Tim Swanson singled him home to make it 3-2. Nelson and Luebke him back to back singles to load the bases. Casey Clemensen executed a squeeze bunt to tie the game.
Carter Clemensen led off the 6th with a double followed by a Kyle Pioske walk. Clemensen moved up to 3rd on the ball four pitch in the dirt. Adam Tebbs put down the second Hollander squeeze bunt of the night to make it 4-3 in favor of the good guys. The lead didn’t last long as Buckentine hit a solo homer in the bottom of the inning to tie it at 4.
In the 7th, Nelson reached on an error followed by a Luebke single and Casey Clemensen walk to load the bases. Carter Clemensen put down a perfectly placed squeeze but, the 3rd of the night, to score a run. He also reached safely on the play. Pioske reached on an error and two runs came across to score making it 7-4.
Casey Clemensen started on the bump for Cologne, tossing 5-1/3 innings. Nelson came on in relief and went the rest of the way to seal the victory for Cologne.
