The 13u Rawlings Cardinals enter the Super Series Tournament at the last hour

and leave the weekend with yet another tournament championship.  The Birds began the weekend with a victory over the Mid-Missouri Young Guns 7-3.  In the second game of the tournament, defeated the Wildcats 9-4 to wrap up the #2 seed heading into elimination games.

In the semi-final game against the Southern Illinois Diamonbacks, the Rawlings Cardinals took advantage of the final at bat to score 4 runs with two outs in the last inning to overcome a 7-3 deficit, thus advancing to the title game vs. the St Louis Pirates with an 8-7 cardiac comeback.

In the title game, the Big Birds took control of the game from the outset and captured the Bigs Sunflower Seeds Super Series State Qualifier Championship winning 12-4.
