With  daylight and weather conditions clearly against them on Tuesday night at Cloverdale BallPark, the Mounties resorted to the oldest trick in the book to try to salvage a loss against the Red Spurs. They filed a protest in the last inning.

With the Red Spurs on an incredible roll lately with 11 wins in their last 14 games, the Mounties knew they were in trouble when they saw the expansion squad battle back 3 times to take the lead in the game.

Knowing the Mounties have a long history with official protests and can often twist the laws of baseball, the Spurs have retained the best for the protest hearing. With Jackie Chiles pleading for them, the Red Spurs are  confident this Win will be upheld...
