After an appeal process that went all the way to the full BC Minor Board, the board decided that the June 12 game between the Mounties and Spurs Red must be completed from the time of the Mounties' protest. In a complicated decision because the game was called for darkness at the same time of the protest which should have made the score revert back to the previous inning as per rule 18:05, which Jackie Chiles argued would make the protest null and void anyways. However, the BC Minor Supreme Court decided otherwise but with the caveat that the game would be restarted at the same time the incident occured which was 9:00PM.

The Spurs Red will abide by the decision and have offered the Mounties 5 dates to complete the game in a month that is already full. Somehow, the Mounties are now appealing the 9:00PM decision. For a team full of bravado which was boasting on their website that they were unafraid and would play any team, anytime, anywhere that is quite a reversal of attitude... especially for a team that clinched a spot in the Provincials on June 11...

While the Mounties are scouring the Rule Book to reverse this latest decision, the Spurs say "let's the kids play"...
