After a tough defeat on thursday afternoon, an exhausted Spurs Black Team returned to the hotel for some well deserved R&R. After a good night  sleep they returned to action at Goshen College against Indiana`s Region Storm.

The Spurs exploded for 17 runs to defeat the local squad 17-2 in 3 innings. In 100 degree heat, the Spurs bats ignited to score the most runs of any of the 40 teams in the tournament.  Laflamme, Williams, Godard and Gleason sparked the attack with two hits apiece. Gleason earned the win with a 43 pitches performance.

The Spurs now look forward to facing one of the tournament favorites, the Cincy Flames as they try to earn a spot in Sunday`s final 16 round.
