Lady Indians throttle Houston County

 

The Lady Indians opened the scoring in the first inning when Erica Casey’s sharp two-out grounder to the shortstop was misplayed, resulting in an error.

Brienna Buckman followed with a line drive single that skipped under the center fielder’s glove allowing Casey to score.  

In the second, Shawna McAdams was hit by a pitch and courtesy runner Nicole Hulsey stole both second and third base.  

 

Bella Zizzi followed with an RBI single slapped past the Lady Irish third baseman.  

Houston County scored its lone run in the third inning.

 

In the bottom of the fourth, the Lady Indians blew the game wide open, scoring ten runs on ten hits.
