ERHS Lady Indians softball NEWS ITEM

The East Robertson Lady Indian softball team completed a perfect 11-0 season in District 10-A play with a 12-2 road win over McEwen last Wednesday.

The win and their record earned them a bye in satellite play as they head into the District 10-A Tournament this week at Houston County. For the season, their overall record now stands at 22-8.

Against McEwen, the Lady Indians jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning. Bella Zizzi got things started with a single and a stolen base. Brienna Buckman delivered the first of her four RBIs on the day with a single to right. Shawna McAdams followed with a single and Chandler Groves and Shari Chatman delivered RBI singles to extend East’s lead.
