On a miserable Thursday evening, the Spurs left their focus at home and were lucky to come out of the first inning with only one run allowed on a plethora of errors. Fighting poor execution all night long, the Spurs squeezed an 8-4 win over Abbotsford when the umpires stop this "Error Show" because of dangerous field conditions in the seventh inning.

Chorpita continued his hot  streak with another 2 run Home Run and a spectacular diving catch in right field. Robichaud drove in another 4 runs with a couple hits while McComb led the charge with two hits of his own. Starinieri, Storrie, Young and Arki rounded the attack for the Spurs with one hit apiece.

Pitchers struggled all game with a sloppy mound and sloppy defense but kept their composure to extend the Spurs winning streak to 7 games. Coaches feel players will have to bring a lot more focus into their Saturday double header in Richmond if they hope to keep their winning streak alive against a tenacious Chuckers team.
