The Spurs returned to the Diamond on Tuesday night at Cloverdale Ball Park running a seven game win streak. Facing a tough Burnaby Braves team who just blanked the league leading Tri-City Indians to secure the Championship of the Burnaby Icebreaker.

The Spurs came to play and doubled up the Braves 8-4 to extend their win streak to 8 games. Baker picked up the win in his second start of the season while Storrie picked up the save in a masterful performance in relief. Leclair continued on his torrid hitting streak with 3 hits while Godard and Robichaud picked up two RBI's apiece. McComb kept pace at leadoff with another two hits while Starinieri and Reston rounded the attack.

The Spurs defence is improving and the coaches feel it will be much needed as they prepare to face the RED HOT 9-2 North Delta Astros on Thursday night.
