After countless hours in the cage in the Winter and More than 70 games played since March, the Cloverdale Spurs are now sailing to Victoria to compete in the Bantam AAA Provincials Championships.

Ignoring their scrapes and bruises, the Spurs are headed to Victoria with high expectations after securing the second seed in the Championships. Battling an almost two week layoff, the Spurs were put through a gruelling practice schedule  by Coach Parkerin hope of staying sharp for the Provincials.

The Spurs are facing a very tough draw starting with the always dangerous North Delta Astros and the surging White-Rock Riptides on thursday. They will then face the Ridge Meadows Royals`powerfull attack on friday morning and close the round robbin against the local favorite and host Victoria Jr.
