With the Baseball Gods shinning on the Cloverdale Spurs Fall Classic, fans were treated to some great fall baseball with lots of close games.  Pitching was in mid -season form for most teams. At Cloverdale BallPark, the Vancouver Mounties defeated the Tri-City Indians 5-4 in a come from behind victory that ended with a spectacular defensive play to seal the championship. Both Teams had gone 3-1 in the round robbin to advance to the final.

Meanwhile, at South Surrey Athletic, the Cloverdale Spurs White prevailed over the North Shore Generals by a score of 8-2 to win their Championship. The victory was sweet revenge for the Spurs who had suffered their only dfeat of the tournament to the Generals earlier in the day. Congratulations to Caoch Rebuck and his numerous assistants for leading the boys to Victory.
