Pre Season honors keep rolling in for two Laker Baseball players. Coach David Rexroat was recently informed that Hunter Best and Tyler Robertson have been selected to the 2012 Pre Season All State team by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association. The list comprises of 50 of the best baseball players in the state for 2012 as voted on by coaches across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Hunter Best, Senior, has been one of the Lakers most solid performers with the bat over the past two years. In his Sophmore season, Hunter batted well over .500 and broke the single season hits record. He followed that up in his Junior campaign with a Batting Average over .400. Hunter has also been a standout on the mound for the Lakers.

Tyler Robertson, Junior, has been a starter for Laker Baseball since his 8th grade year. Tyler, has been starting shortstop and one of the Lakers main go to guys on the hill during his time with the Lakers.

We would like to congratulate Hunter and Tyler on this recognition as two of the best baseball players in the state.
