The Lakers continued their winning ways against Allen County Scottsville, whom many considered the hottest team in the 4th Region. The Lakers defeated the Patriots 7-2, pounding out 9 hits and a strong pitching performance from Hunter Best. Best went the distance, pitching 7 innings and surrendering 2 runs.

At the plate the Lakers were equally impressive. ACS was pitching Cumberland University (TN) signee, Dustin Stovall. Stovall, many consider the top pitcher in the 4th Region. Leading the way for RC at the dish were Dillon Downey going 3 for 4 with a RBI. Bryson McFall collected 3 hits in 4 plate appearances with 3 RBI'S. Zach Carney also had a hit and plated an all important RBI.

The Lakers now have earned the right to face the Warren Central Dragons for the 4th Region Championship on Wednesday, June 2nd.
