Socastee grabs its sixth win of the season defeating neighboring Murrells Inlet 10-3 at St. James Field. The Braves batted through the order in the first inning scoring 5 runs, Charlie Nicholson put the game out of reach with a grand slam in the sixth, and the defense rode the solid pitching of Matt McKinney (5ip, 3h, 1er, 3k) and Trevor Bigham (2ip, 2k) to the win. The offense was led at the plate by Charlie (1-4, hr, r, 4rbi), Matt McKinney (2-3, rbi), and Coby Guilbeau (2-5, 3r).
