Notes:
Braves complete the sweep scoring five runs in the first inning, two in the second, and holding on to defeat Myrtle Beach 7-5. Bubba Martin (4.1 ip) settled in after giving up a first pitch home run, and only needed some fifth inning one out relief from Charlie Nicholson to get the win. Socastee was less productive at the plate than usual only hammering out six hits but took advantage of four errors and two walks to scratch out the runs. Matt McKinney (2-3, 2r, 3rbi), led the way at the plate and was supported by Chris Drake (1-3, 2rbi), Walker Darnell (1-2, r, rbi), Hunter Renfrow (1-2, 2r), and Coby Guilbeau (1-3). |
