Welcome to Kenosha Merchants Baseball!

 

Welcome back to another season of Kenosha Merchants travel baseball. After a very successful 2011 season, this year's team is looking forward to yet another solid performance competing in the U13 division. 

About Us

For those of you who may be new to the program, approximately 13 years ago, this travel baseball program was started with the funding assistance of local area businesses, which is how the team name was created. The goal of the program is to recruit kids to play a higher level of baseball and compete against other traveling teams throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

This particular team has been together for four years. After multiple winning seasons, we are confident that the boys are gaining the experience they will need to prepare them for high school baseball in the future.

Four years ago, we finished in first place in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League U9 division with a 19-2 record and placed 1st in one tournament and 2nd in another. Three years ago, we finished second (17-4) in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League U10 division, placing 1st in two tournaments and 2nd in two others. The 2010 year proved to be another winning year, once again placing first in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League U11 division with a 18-3 record and finished 1st in two tournaments. The 2011 team finished first in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League U12 division with a 14-6 record as well.

Merchants Fundraiser Information

Funding for our team comes from donations, fundraisers, and parents. Our team attempts to cover the entire expense of each player's participation, which includes equipment, tournament fees, uniforms, umpire costs, and baseball diamond rentals. During the 2010 season, we had 32 sponsors supporting our Kenosha Merchants baseball team.
