We are a team playing in the Midget division under the regulations of BC Minor Baseball.

Our season will run from April to June.

June 18th, 2010

We are two games into the playoffs now with a record of 1 and 1.  We are playing good baseball, but have to be great to avoid the double knock out.   Next game is at Hillcrest on Saturday, June 19th.   1 pm.  See you there.

June 8th, 2010

Great end to the regular season play everyone.  A solid victory over the 3rd place team.   Justr shows what we are capable of doing when focused.   Ryan and Jonn ran a great game and really got the lads playing well.  We are heading into playoffs now, with our first game potentially on Friday.   We will be practicing on Wed June 9th at Blundell.

May 31st, 2010

A couple of interesting games over the weekend.  Both played in the rain, and we recorded one loss against the Spitz and one win against the Reds.    The game against the Spitz on Friday night, we lacked energy and our minds were not on the game....noted by our two picked off runners on 2nd base!    The game on Saturday was better, but again we started out a little slow.      Intersting to have our Centerfielder and Left Fielder having to wear batting helmuts due to a Cricket game!

May 10th, 2010

What a comeback!    Our second game of the season started off a bit rough, after two innings we were down 6 - 1!.  We held our composure and battled back, taking a victory 9 to 8.    We did only record 8 hits to their 10, and we had 12 errors to their 8!    But it was our aggressive base running and stealing home which won us the game.  Jonah started the game for us and worked through 71 pitches, Charlie came in for relief and threw 42, with Trev closing us out with 45 pitches.  We did have 8 strike outs, while our pitchers struck out 9 of the Red Sox batters.

May 4th, 2010

Great game last night Rockies.  Our first game of the season, playing on a new field and getting the cobwebs off.  Despite the blustery day, it turned out to be a great night for Rockies baseball.  We had a few hiccups with a couple of bounces and signal mix ups, but overall a great showing by the team. Trevor threw 52 pitches and Nawid closed with 22 pitches.   Trev allowed only 1 hit, with 3 walks and 5 k's. Nawid allowed only 1 hit, with 2 k's.  We only has 1 strike out on our side with 9 singles and 2 doubles recorded.   A great way to start the season everyone!

April 26th, 2010

Our first baseball game is tonight at Blundell.    As we do not have our own hats or new pans yet, please wear what you have.  

Tonight's game has been cancelled due to poor weather!

Schedules are now out, for the first two weeks.   In addition, we have changed our name to the Rockies...to match our jersey's.   The web site will be changed to match soon.
