Game Notes: Giants are at home against their arch rivals the Delta Dodgers, the Dodgers have had their way with the Giants the last few years. Giant start Jacob Harder pitched well and kept the giants in the game for five innings in the bottom of the fifth some of the most bizarre plays that I have seen in over forty years took place. In the third inning Giant right fielder Graham D lost the ball in the sun and was plunked in the head and had to leave the game with a concussion, in the fifth with the score 0-1 all star centre fielder Jorda F lost another ball in the sun and was hit in the eye and suffered injury to his right eye. After a 45 minute delay waiting for an ambulance the wheels fell off for the Giants and the score did not indicate how the game was played however it was a 1-9 loss. Hot hitting Steve B lead the way with two hits and singles by Trevor K, Domingo G and Gavin Mac, newcomers Mark F and Mike S slugged out their first hits of the year
