| The Pembina Valley Orioles brought their 3-3 record into St. James on Sunday afternoon to take on the A's. Pembina Valley took Game 1 7-4, led by a strong performance from Bryan Evans on the mound. Pembina Valley then snuck out a second win in Game 2 with a score of 2-1. Newcomer Zane Sawyer pitched 4 innings with Travis Friesen finishing off Game 2. Offensively, Dustin Donald continued his strong performance at the plate, rounding out the day with 5 hits in 2 games. The Orioles next action goes Wednesday in Elmwood when they take on the Giants. The Orioles hope to end their road trip with a win before taking the field at Buhler Field against the Winnipeg South Chiefs on Sunday, June 5. |
