Trent Eckstein

PROFILE

Eckstein is a 1988 graduate of Winner High School in Winner, SD, where his baseball team receive 2 State Titles. In 1993, Eckstein graduated from Briar Cliff College, where he was a successful pitcher on the baseball team. Since graduating from college, Eckstein has been a baseball coach Ankeny High School (Ankeny, IA), Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA), Heelan High School (Sioux City, IA), LeMars High School (LeMars, IA), and South Hamilton High School. Eckstein's amateur career has included time with the Winner Pheasants and the Vermillion Red Sox. After a brief absence, Eckstein returned to the Vermillion Red Sox in 2005. Eckstein was a member of the 2006 Class A State Champion Vermillion Red Sox. In 2009, Eckstein will be playing his 5th Season with the Red Sox.
