| The Braves played a doubleheader at home on Saturday with the first game against Loris and the second game against Marion. Temperatures started the day around 30 degrees but were around 52 at game time. The first game ended in a 6-6 tie as Loris scored 4 in the last inning. Pitching for Socastee were Ayres Renfro, Travers Woodward, and Jason Tomlinson. Hitting for the Braves were Ayres Renfro(1-2, HR, 2RBIs), Cody Rice(1-2, RBI), Tim Starkey(1-2, 2B, 2RBIs), and Kyle Presley(1-1, RBI). In the second game they fall to Marion 10-1. Pitching for Socastee were Gunnar Kines, Cody Rice, and Sean Bonawitz. Hitting for the Braves were Ayres Renfro(1-2), Tim Starkey(1-2), Sean Bonawitz(1-2), and Gunnar Kines(1-1). Next scrimmage is next Saturday at home. |
