| The Braves defeat visiting George Washington (Charleston WV) 9-6 led by Cody Rice's 3 run homer in the 2nd. Socastee had an 8-3 lead after 2 but GW worked their way back in to the game. Sean Bonawitz started for the home team and scattered 5 hits before Richard Carmichael came in for 3 innings and David Rickenbacker gets the save. Hitting for the Braves were Ayres Renfro(1-4), David Rickenbacker (2-4, 2B), Tim Starkey (1-3, RBI), Travers Woodward (1-4), Kyle Presley (2-3, 3RBIs), and Cody Rice (1-3, HR, 3RBIs). |
