| The Braves lose game 4 of the Mingo Bay tourney 7-6 to University High from WV. Socastee jumped out early scoring 4 in the first but gave up 6 unearned runs in the 4th to University. They scored two in the bottom of the 7th but fell one short. They take a few day break before starting region play next week. Pitching for the Braves were Kyle Presley, Sean Bonawitz, and Cody Rice. Hitting for the Braves were Ayres Renfro (2-4), Tim Starkey (1-3, 2B), Travers Woodward (2-4, RBI), Kyle Presley (2-4, 2 RBIs), Richard Carmichael (1-3, 2B, RBI), and Justin Vreeland (1-3, RBI). |
