| Dylan Thompson pitched a complete game shutout, yielding only 4 hits while striking out 8 to get the win 8-0. He got plenty of defensive and offensive support as Hunter Renfrow and Charlie Nicholson both had defensive web gems and Chase Keevert and Charlie Nicholson executed a perfect relay to Manny Berdayes to tag out the only scoring threat for Wilson. In the third inning Finn Melko made a charging off balance throw on a sacrifice bunt to nip the batter at first and Charlie then pegged the ball back to third, which was alertly covered by a Walker Darnell who hustled from left field, to complete the double play. Offensively, Kenny Taylor led the charge with a hit and a double and 4 rbi's (detail posted 12 Varsity, stats posted) |
