| Gunnar Kines struck out 12 and gave up 5 hits and the Braves down visiting Lake City 6-1. Gunnar was in command all night as the Braves scored 1 in the first and 1 in the second and then added 3 late to secure the win. Hitting for Socastee were Tim Starkey (1-3, RBI), Justin Vreeland (1-4), Travers Woodward (1-4), Charlie Nicholson (1-2), Jake Davis (2-3), Matt McKinney (1-3, 2B), and Walker Darnell (3-3, 2B, 3RBIs). Walker, Jake, and Matt were big contributors at the plate with their hitting as the Braves move to 2-0 in the region. |
