Posted Apr 23/10 - Socastee loses region finale, enters playoffs against Bluffton
Socastee falls to St James in region finale by a score of 11-4. Of the 11 runs only 3 were earned as mistakes were costly to the Braves. They fall to 7-3 in the region and will travel to Bluffton on Thursday night for their first round playoff game. Kyle Presley was on the mound and pitched well for a complete game against #1 ranked St James. Hitting for the Braves were Jake Davis (3-4, RBI), Travers Woodward (2-4, RBI), Gunnar Kines (2-4, RBI), Kyle Presley (1-3, RBI), and Charlie Nicholson (1-3).
