Austin went 2 for 3 at the plate with a homerun and a double with 3 RBIs. It was fun and well played game up untill it was cut short. Theres still a long season ahead of all teams and the league and we will see the Hurricanes again.

7-26-09  THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! It was the Outfitters vs. Hurricanes. Both teams came out looking strong through the 1st couple of innings. In the 3rd inning the Hurricanes led off with a homerun that really got thier team going they ended up scoring 8 runs in the 1st 4 innings. Both teams made errors, but overall it was a well played game.

7-19-09  Division Finals! It was the Outfitters vs. the 1st place Beavers. The Outfitters came out swinging, trying to make the beavers make plays. However, the Beavers made erros in the 1st that ended up costing them 5 runs. It was a great played game, the Beavers tried battling back and the Outfitters made some errors but the bats of the Outfitters and their pitching was able to hold up and get the win. Outfitters are now the Division 1 Champions!!!!!!!

7-12-09   Round 2 of the playoffs. Outfitters vs. Bandits! 2 very competetive teams came to play in high hopes to make it to the championship game. The Bandits' big bats came alive in the 1st inning getting a 3 run homerun. They then came up with 2 more runs and had the lead 5-0. The Outfitters seen their season slipping away but never let up. Courtland Smith came up big in the 8th to tie the game with a 2 run homerun. The game ended up going into extra innings. It was probably one of the best played games all season up until the lights went off on the field. The Outfitters ended up with the victory however on a coaching error by the Bandits. Their coach put in a player who was not eligible to play in the playoffs therfore having to forfeit the game.

6-28-09   Round 1 of the playoffs. Outfitters vs. Cobras! The Outfitters knew coming into this game they had to step up their game. The Cobras had a new team the 2nd half of the season who came out ready to play and win every game. However the Outfitters came out and put up 5 runs in the 1st inning and never gave up, scoring 17 runs total. Austin Geschke of the Outfitters pitched an amazing game and had great control throughout the game. Austin gave up 2 runs in 6innings with 6k's

6-14-09   Outfitters vs Wolves  the last game of the regular season. The wolves started the season strong and fell apart half way through with many injuries on the team. The Outfitters knew though with their ace Justin Lombardo still on their team we couldn't look past them. The Outfitters came ready to play but the Wolvs took the lead early in the game, but couldn't hold onto it. The Outfitters put up 6 runs in the 5th inning to really open open the game. The Bandits came out strong and hit 2 homeruns in the 1st inning and added 2 more later in the game. The Outfitters fired back with 4 homeruns but fell short on runs to win the game. Once again errors in key situations gave up runs that cost the game for the Outfitters. The team is looking to put this season behind them and try to finish strong in the playoffs.

4-26-09  Outfitters vs. Knights, in what was suppose to be a good game, fell apart with mistakes by the umpires and errors made on the field. It wasn't the greatest umping job by both umps in the game, they helped the Knights come up with a victory over the Outfitters. The Knights are a really solid team that really knows how to play the game, and came ready to play today. The Outfitters struggled keeping their heads in the game with the terrible calls by both umpires. The Outfitters are looking forward to the rest of the season and earning more victories.

4-19-09  Another win!!! In what was to close of of a game the Outfitters came out on top, scoring 5 runs in the last inning to get the win 8 to 3. Jason pitched a great game and DJ came into close it out and did a outstanding job, getting 2 K's no hits and no runs. The team struggled at the plate and left a total of 16 runners on base but still manage to play as a team and come up with 5 runs in the last inning to get the win.

4-12-09   Pro Division 1 wins the all-star game!!! It was a great game, both teams battled back and forth. Pro 1 had 2 homeruns and came out on top to get the win. Dj Paule got the co MVP with Jordan Judd, both pitched great in the game. David Jones was a no show and Jojo was not able to make it due to work, his replacement Jason Davis was also a no show.

4-5-09   With 4 key players missing from the lineup, the Outfitters played a great game against the undefeated Brewers. Giving up 4 runs in the 1st inning hurt the team as they battle back the rest of the game, only putting up 2 runs against the strong pitching of the Brewers. With the homeplate umpire umping his first game and not knowing all the rules didnt help with the result of the game either. David came into pitch in the 2nd inning shutting down the heavy hitting brewers to only 3 hits with no earned runs in 7 innings , and having solid defense behind him. Even though it was a loss the team is keeping their heads high and looking to improve and play the rest of the season!

3-29-09   Another win in the books!!! The Outfitters were looking strong, coming into the game against the high scoring Bandits. David Jones held the Bandits to only 5 runs in 9 innings, he had a lot of run support, and solid defense behind him. Many players had a multi hit game.  Chris and Mike came up big in the game coming in in late innings to help out the team at the plate. With the Outfitters finally coming together and playing as a team they are starting to look stronger and stronger each game they play. The team continues their win streak to 3 games!!!

3-22-09   The Outfitters win again!!! Now on a 2 game winning streak the Outfitters are looking at going in strong against the Bandits in week 5. The Outfitters defeated the Wolves in what was a great game. The weather was terrible but both teams stuck it out and the Outfitters came out on top 5 to 4. With the new additions to the team, and the outfitters coming together as a team, things are starting to look good for this new formed team.

3-15-09  Outfitters 1st win for the season, team now 1-2. Coming into game 3 facing the cobras 0-2 the Outfitters came ready to play. Even though giving up 9 runs with again multiple errors in the field the Outfitters bats came alive to get the win 19-9.

3-8-09   The Outfitters are off to a rough start!!! Going into game 2 against the Matadors, after beating them twice in the winter season the Outfitters just didn't come ready to play. The Matadors came out looking strong as a team in the 1st inning making contact with the ball and didn't stop throughout the game. The Outfitters were able to fight back and score 4 runs in the 4th. The team could not keep the defense strong making 9 recorded errors on the field giving up many unearned runs, stolen bases, and hits. There is still a long season in front of this team and there is a lot of improvement needed to win some ball games!

3-1-09     Tough game against the Dirty Beavers for season opener. Ryan pitched a great game giving up only 4 runs in 5 innings. David came in for relief but was not 100% and gave up 4 runs in 1 and 2/3rds of an inning. Jason came in and closed out the game. At the plate the team struggled having 10 strike outs and only 5 hits with 2 runs. Courtland went 1 for 1 with 2 walks and a double. Austin also had a double with 2 RBIs.

2-22-09     The end of the winter season. The outfitters finshed the season 1-3 going into the payoffs. Round 1 against the Matadors. The Matadors were missing some key players but tried to fight the arm of David Jones but did not put up that big of a fight. The Outfitters defeated the Matadors 12-3.

2-22-09    Round 2 of the playoffs against the tough Devils. TheDevils came out strong the first inning, putting up 3 runs. Jason and Ryan pitched a great game but the team made a few errors, and had bad calls at the plate. But at the end the Outfitters could not put up runs against the Devils strong pitchers.
