| Walt Burrows who is the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau Director of Scouting for Canada will be travelling to Edmonton on February 24th, 2011 to observe FX Baseball Academy Students. Walt is an integral part of identifying players for the MLB Amateur draft. His responsibilities are to grade and follow all Canadian baseball athletes that are potential professional prospects. Major League Organizatiuons can access grading scores and reports that Walt creates to help evaluate the potential of a Canadian Baseball Athlete. Walt has also worked as the Head Scout for Team Canada at the World Baseball Classic in 2009 and the Olympic Teams in 2008 and 2004. |
