| Michael Williams throws a complete game against the Praire Baseball Academy Dawgs who play in the Canadian Baseball College Conference. Michael gave up one run in the 7 inning game as the FX Varsity squad scored a win in Lethbridge on the weekend versus the Canadian College Champions of the previous 5 years. The Varsity squad ended up splitting the double header on Sunday with FX dropping the second game 9 - 5. In the Spitz Tournament at Spitz Stadium in Lethbridge the FX Junior Varisity squad ended winning both games on Sunday in convincing fashion by beating The Pro Baseball Force from Calgary 12 - 2 and beating Okotoks in the second game of the day 15 - 5. The Academy will be at home next weekend when Lethbridge and Strathmore come to town. Games will start at Telus Field on Saturday at 8:00am. |
