| Posted May 4/10 - Codey Shrider Commits to Allan Hancock College |
| Codey Shrider who joined the Baseball Academy from Dartsmouth, Nova Scotia for his senior year of high school has committed to Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria , California. Codey joins a program that is headed back to the state playoffs for the second year in a row. The Bulldogs are seeded 13th and will take on fourth seed Chaffey College in a three-game series on May 7-8 in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Hancock finished the regular season ranked second in the Western State Conference, with a 13-7 conference and 21-14 overall record and are currently ranked 12th in the Southern Conference. The Chaffey College Panthers finished the season at the top of the Foothill Conference with a 23-1 record and a 26-10 overall record and are ranked fifth in the Southern Conference. Codey is going to a program that has a long tradition of developing Canadian College Baseball Players since the early 80's when John Osbourne was the head coach. Good Luck to Codey! |
